Mrs. Whitmore served as the secretary for Mike Zigichs for the slope stabilization project at the mine in Ruth. She was photographed at work by the KCC PR department. These photographers were found in the general office building in McGill and are the only knows photos of her at work.

Personal Biography:
Marrying J.P. Whitmore in 1950, the couple had three daughters, Jody, LuJean and Penny. Mrs. Whitmore was an avid bowler and crocheter. She was always supportive and pushed hard for all her daughters to do their best in all their endeavors. With Mr. Whitmore's appointment as General Superintendent of the NNRy, the family moved into the GM's house across the street from the Transportation Building.
