Original passenger fixtures removed in conversion to an outfit car in February 1940. Used in wreck train service until the end of NNRy operations. In 1987, the car was repainted in a "Bumblebee" paint scheme and used for the opening scene of the movie "Once Upon a Texas Train" starring Willie Nelson. Dubbed the "Willie Car," it was spotted near the depot for several years and used to serve hotdogs to passengers. External restoration to its appearance as an outfit car completed. Interior now heated by a coal stove.
